We are here to grow Zambian technology talent
NATEC, the Naval Technology Center, is a training center and technology hub founded in 2023. Our name speaks to navigation, the confidence to move through new and open water. That is exactly what we help people do with technology.
Why we exist
Talent is everywhere in Zambia, but the bridge from curiosity to capability has been thin. Too much learning stops at theory. NATEC was built to close that gap, to give people skills they can use, work they can show, and a community they can grow with.
We keep our promise simple. Practical skills, result oriented programs, and a genuine hub where students, professionals, and founders meet.
Practical first
We teach by doing. If you cannot use it on Monday morning, we have not finished teaching it.
Momentum
We move fast and ship often, and we help our learners build that same momentum in their own work.
Community over ego
The scene grows when we lift each other. Our doors and our talks stay open.

The journey so far
NATEC is founded
We opened in Lusaka with one clear purpose, to give people practical, result oriented technology skills.
Learning by doing
We shaped our programs around real practice, from conferences and masterclasses to short trainings and the Nested podcast.
Devcon: Team Edition
We are bringing developers together for a team based edition of our flagship conference on 19 October 2026.
